Toe & Heel Puff Stiffeners
Toe puffs and heel counters are the hidden stiffeners that hold a shoe’s shape — the toe box in front, the counter at the back. Avetco supplies thermoplastic counter material in two lines, both 55″ wide.
Counter material in 5-yard rolls, stocked in 0.6mm, 0.65mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm and 1.2mm (listed as E200, E300, E400, E500 and E700). Thinner suits soft uppers and dress work; thicker holds structure in boots and work footwear.
Poliflex thermoplastic — P2050 at 0.5mm, P2060 double-sided (2/C) at 0.6mm, and P2080 at 0.8mm.
Thermoplastic counter materials are heat-activated and pressed to shape, bonding into the upper during lasting.
